Dr. Apostle Dave Thomas, PhD, D.Min., M.Div., Bishop, was baptized at the age of eight at the Anderson Road Baptist Church in Houston Texas.  Dr. Thomas a native of Houston, Texas heard God’s call on his life at an early age, Dr. Thomas took the long way to the cross he was involved in gangs and criminal activity most of his early life and into his teenage years before being grounded.

Dr. Thomas, PhD finally heard the voice of the Lord. While in the United States Army Dr. Thomas fully committed his life to the Lord.  Dr. Thomas was blessed with the Holy Ghost and the spiritual gift of speaking in tongues while attending the Lily of The Valley Church of God and Christ where he was a part of the men's ministry. Dr. Thomas was called by the Lord to help his spiritual mother ,Prophetess Catherine E. Ward during Noon Day Prayer. Prophetess Ward is over the Simply Praise Line a powerful prayer line ministries

Before leaving Fort Wainwright Dr. Thomas seeking to know Christ at a higher level was baptized at the United Pentecostal Church in Fairbanks Alaska. Dr. Thomas and family relocated to Fort Richardson Alaska, where he and the family attended Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Anchorage Alaska where he became a minister under the guidance of Doctor Alonzo Patterson.

on June 2003 the doors of the church where open. Throughout the 20 years  Jesus Holy Temple has gone through many changes we thank God that we are still standing.  In the past the only live gospel music broadcast in the state of Alaska was made possible thru Jesus Holy Temple’s outreach ministry which aired every Sunday evening @ University of Alaska’s radio station.  Currently Jesus Holy Temple outreach ministry broadcast every Saturday night on the local TV station channel 18 at nine o’clock pm.

Dr. Thomas has been married to his lovely wife First Lady Sondra Thomas for 29 years. The lord has blessed their marriage with 8 wonderful children and 5 grandchildren. Dr. Dave Thomas and his wife are not only busy building a church; they are also busy in winning souls for the lord. Their vision is “Saving One Soul at a Time”.   Pray for the success of their vision. Dr. Thomas is a Drug and Alcohol counselor.

Jesus Holy Temple is affiliated with Gods Holy Temple and churches. The Presiding Bishop is Bishop Randy Crenshaw of God’s Holy Temple Church in Blytheville Arkansas. 

Dr. Thomas has been elected to state Bishop of Alaska by the Presiding Bishop Randy Crenshaw. Bishop Thomas is a Graduate of Kaplan University, with a Bachelor in Criminal Justice and a Masters in Criminal Justice. Dr. Thomas has attended Liberty Seminary and is presently attending Atlantic Coast College of the Bible Theological Seminary. Dr. Thomas has graduated with a Master in Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry Degree. Dr. Thomas has completed his PHD in  Philosophy at Atlantic Coast College of the Bible Theological Seminary. Dr. Thomas has heard God’s voice, To walk in his (Apostolic calling ) Dr. Thomas has aligned  with Kingdom International Alliance. Dr. Thomas has been appointed the International Apostle, by Chief Apostle Maurice Teachey. God has opened doors for outreach ministries and Dr. Thomas is walking through them. Lady Sondra Thomas has a Bachelor’s of Arts and a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice-Human Services from Liberty University. Dr. Thomas is also a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served 6 ½ years in U.S. Infantry where he was released in June 2003 on a medical discharge, to start God’s mission.  Dr. Thomas currently holds various Juneteenth positions such as being a member of the National Juneteenth observance Foundation board, the Alaska Representative for the National Juneteenth Christian Leadership Council and Chairman of the National Juneteenth Armed Service Commission.  Dr. Thomas is a Co-chairman of the Alaska Highway Project Anchorage Alaska Representative. Dr. Thomas has been blessed by God to be anointed and appointed over Jesus Holy Temple. Where the word is the word, where the anointing flows, and where the power of God is present. Dr. Thomas has been blessed to preach the gospel throughout the US and other countries and will continue to go where God calls him.
